Tank-Tops Done...

Well, I hemmed them! By machine too yet!

Pg told me what stitch to try, and I did a test run on a cut off and it went pretty good, so I went ahead and did one tank-top. That turned out much better than I have ever done on stretch fabrics!!!

Now all 4 tank-tops are done, and gone home with DD2 tonight. Happy I got at least that done today... They didn't turn out too bad! 8-)

No Wednesday night quilt gathering tonight. As happened with Tuesday's Country Rose, canceled due to the cold weather... I just checked the weather. It is -42C with the wind-chill right now... Brrrrrrrrr........

Found an awesome quilt done by Jennifer of blog "Old Town Quiltery". It is called Timberline. Go and check it out. Look through Jennifer's blog cause she has some lovely quilty works! 8-)

I was talking to the fur-girls tonight, and they were doing the doggy head tilting thing. Both heads were going right and left in opposite of each other... it was too funny... should have filmed them...

I'm supposed to go out tomorrow. Hope it warms up a tad... 8-)

The doggie head tilt thing is too funny. Doggies entertain us even when they don't realize it huh?

Glad you got those tops fixed up for DD#2. Aren't you glad you listened to PG? She'll be so proud of you!!

This cold is beyond belief! I hear it is getting warmer by the weekend. I hope the forecast is right or I'm going to Mexico or Australia! Lol.

So glad you were able to get the tank-tops done with your machine,it beats handsewing.I'm not a seamstress but knew it had worked for me.It's also another good reason you bought that new machine.
Now it's time to get on with your quilting.
Cheers-PG

Glad you got the tank tops done. I bet it was a lot faster using the machine to hem them. I am surprised that tank tops are so important right now with the weather so cold. Is she planning a vacation in Bermuda? I hope you can find the picture of the quilt you plan to make using the half square triangles. Sounds very interesting. TTFN...Lilly
