Quilt Group Shares...

From our most recent retreat this past weekend.

This is 2 of Ly's blocks for a pattern called "Options" from Maple Island Quilts.
Here is her quilt top put together.
The blue painters tape bits on the left are her row orders.
This is Di's efforts on the same pattern.
The colors sure play differently.
These photos below are from my Wonky Bits Group.

All three are the efforts of Pa's hands.
She puts out quilts like no body's business!
Her hands are always extremely busy...
And sadly, I have nothing to show for myself in the way of quilting.
Been doing a lot of knitting and crochet.

Stay warm to those of you in cold climates right now,
stay cool to those in the hot ones, and I envy the
people that are where it is just right.

Happy Stitching!

A Shrek Baby Look-a-Like

Grandson #4 - photo taken when he was about 3-4 months old.
Heading out to another retreat tomorrow.
Even though our retreats are longer than a "weekend retreat",
I still wish that they lasted longer than they do!
Time flies by so darn fast when having fun with the gals...

Happy stitching!

My Crochet and Knitting

Just waiting for the grandsons to come for me to babysit tonight, and thought what can I do while I wait now, cause everything is tidy and ready for them... AH! Do a blog posting...

This is a crocheted shawl I am making for myself. I have a few more rows to
do to finish the decorative edge. Made of a Cotton yarn...
This is a knitted shawl I am making for myself again. I always envy the beautiful woolen yarns my friends use, cause I like the look of it, but can't use it because I'm allergic to it. Found this acrylic yarn the kind of looks wooly, so thought to try it. Just another 10 rows and I'll be done!
Had a nice thick dusting of snow this morning. Everything looked so clean and fresh, but it is cold.

Have a great weekend everyone!
