A 2009 Challenge...

I just signed up for another challenge. (Katherine...!!!) I did pretty good on Finn's NYE Challenge (list on her sidebar), 5 for 5, so I hope I can keep up on this one!

The challenge is a "project a month" hosted by May Britt and Kris Meares. Check out their info posts about it, perhaps you need a kick in the butt to challenge yourself too? 8-)

I guess it is time to tidy up my sewing room and make a definite plan for the challenge...?... One plan, I think I am going to go ahead with (as soon as DH can help), is switch the master bedroom and sewing room. Yup! The more I think about it, the more the idea makes sense to me... The bedroom furnitu
re will fit fine in the mid sized bedroom, and I will gain about 30 square feet more in the sewing room with the switch...

Ellie is doing a Country Calender BOM stitchery/applique patterns on her blog. You may wish to check it out, for it might just be something for you! 8-)

Okay, first the gasp - your husband is agreeing to the change! What a wonderful man. The bedroom swap makes perfect sense. Hopefully when you're all set up, you'll post some photos. Re the fur girls - Ruby looks so darn cute in that photo.

I've been realy happy sharing the living room as a sewing studio and music room. We moved the "living room" to a bedroom which is much cosier... worked for just the two of us. I'd go for switching the bedrooms in a heartbeat if it gains you sewing space, and the bedroom is still large enough! :-)

Switching rooms sounds like a great idea. A new room for a new year of great projects. And it sounds like there are going to be a least 12.

Good for you Myra! Who needs a big bedroom anyway...the only things most people do in a bedroom don't take up much room anyway, right?

I thought about that challenge, but don't feel like I can really commit to doing it. I'll be following your progress though, but no pressure! :)

Cute dogs!

Switching rooms is a good idea. But if it were me, I'd just end up with 30 square feet more of MESS!

Sounds like a great sewing room switch to me! :-) Who needs to sleep in a big room? :-)) I'd sleep in a closet for a big sewing room! LOL Your furbabies are so cute!

Reorganizing feels so good . . . I hope your plans all work out. 'Tis the time of year for all the challenges and trying the choose one or two but not all is really tough - there are some really interesting ones out there right now. Glad I waited for the Bunny Tales one . . . looks like fun. I'll be watching your progress on the ones you've chosen. - Marlene

My sewing room is the smallest room in the house but unfortunately I can't make a switch - wish I had that option! blessings, marlene
