IS NOTHING IN THIS HOME/LIFE MY OWN!!!

When I as a young woman living on my own I had a few tools that I kept in my broom-closet for when I needed to fix or hammer something, and I knew exactly where to find them. After getting married and having 3 children I kept my tools in my broom-closet still, and the older the kids got, and the lazier the hubby got (my toolbox is out in the garage), my tools started to disappear. I never knew they were "borrowed" until, of course, I needed them and could not find them!!! After many a frustrating times such as this, I bought myself a "cheap" toolbox, kept it hidden, and eventually it broke. My DD#2 bought me a new, better, toolbox with some extra tools for Christmas this past year and so far no tools have gone missing....
What led me to type of this, is because I just caught my DH sneaking down the stairs with MY toolbox!!! He has been sneaking it out of my sewing room quite often of late, sooooo, I am thinking it is high time to hide my toolbox once again before everything does go missing.... again!!!
Just like my scissors used to go "missing", but that hasn't happened in a very long time now... 8-) because everyone here values their life!!! 8-)
I know you understand about things like this! 8-)

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I haven't looked at all of your posts yet, but will come back, and hope you visit mine also. Looks like you get a lot done!!! I haven't quite figured out a way to get projects made AND blog about them. I just started blogging about 6 months ago. And I am going to take an applique class this week, so maybe I will get some things ready to show on the computer! Wish me luck..and I will visit again soon!

HAHAHAHA I've seen pink toolboxes/tools - I'll bet your hubby wouldn't take those! That's pretty funny :)

zctOh, I'm laughing so hard right now! I remember my mom hiding her scissors from us --and now I do the same thing. I have my tools stashed in my fabric in my sewing room. So far no one has found them!

As long as you have a husband and children at home, that's the way it is. I loved reading this post. It brought back some memories. I could have written it myself. Now that my 4 boys and a girl are grown and have familes of thier own, the "borrowing" is down to just my husband. He still gets MY tools. He knows I will cut his arm off if he touches my SISSORS,so they are safe. Thanks for a great post. Have a great day and God bless.
