More snow, more display wall play...

More s__t, I mean snow... this is enough already!!! The snow is usually gone in the beginning of April, never mind getting more!!! Mother Nature, I fail to see the humor in this April fools day joke... 8-(
Did some more play on the design wall last night. I have about 3 more rows to add, move around, and play with... I think it will keep, to be put together at the next retreat.... Maybe!!! Unless I need another mindless sewing day... 8-)

Decisions, decisions, decisions... too many! lol...

My cousin-in-law Dt is coming over tomorrow to learn how to make an X-Bag for herself, and I will be making another also. I shall be enlarging the pattern a tad, but my problem is which combination of fabrics do I want to use...

Option here is the print to the outside, black on the inside, and bind with print or maybe the green...

Perhaps the black inside and camp fabric outside...

The white is just the interfacing in all photos...

Black inside, print outside...

Another black inside, print outside...

Print outside, red inside... hmmm... maybe too bright...

Dark print outside, green inside...

Blue print outside, turquoise inside...

Black inside, print inside... real iffy on the red for binding...

You see my dilemma? I have too many options in my stash! Perhaps I should make one of each! lol!

Tonight is another quilt night. Some gals will be sitting it out due to the snow, but I shall forge on. We've missed too many quilt days!!! Hopefully I will have some Sew & Tell for you later today, or tomorrow... 8-)

I hope your snow melts quickly and you are then done with it for this season! TOO many choices of fabric for that bag....LOL (If it helps, I can tell you my least favorite....the one with the blue print outside and the turquoise inside.....maybe it's just the photo, but I don't like those two fabrics together....hope you don't mind my saying so!)

You may just have to make half a dozen bags. I can't believe it's still snowing!!!

I vote for the third choice :^)

We are getting lots of snow here also.

Good luck in your choice of fabric for the bag. I look forward to seeing what you choose. How's that for help.

So, why not do the "process of elimination" step and take out one at a time that you really don't like or want as a bag. I too am doing yet another X-bag. Navy corduroy and a sort of blue and purple aztec print on the inside. I had no dilemma since it was my daughter who chose the fabrics. I was going to do another tan one like she has but she wanted a different colour. The one she has got an ink stain on the bottom and I guess it's no good anymore...

You can make me one! The third choice, black out, print in!
Didn't I ask you lately if you had spring too? You poor girl! If I could I'd sent some of our weather to you. Don't despair: spring will come, meanwhile keep up the good work on your designwall, I love it!

My favorites were the second to the last and the third to the last. So sorry about your spring snow. We had a small taste of it for less than 24 hours, thankfully.

I think one of each would be nice!
I love the quilt you are working on. It has a nice look to it.

What is with all that snow?
