Now you are probably thinking what about working with fabrics and creating is different, well, the creating is not with fabrics this time... wood and glass! 8-)
DH and DD2 were creating with wood and glass in his work shop yesterday. They are making a much bigger tank for her Tagu Lizards. This one will be about 63" long, by 20" deep, but 20" high, more than twice the size of the tank she has her Tagus in right now...

Here are the said Tagus in their cramped little tank. "Hagrid & Severus." They've grow lots since this photo was taken back in November. Did I mention that they can grow to about 20 pounds... EACH!!!
Here DH put a bit of a frame around the bottom and debating on how to framing up the rest... Well thought out? I'm not sure... Personally, I'm thinking "you make that thing break-out proof!!! Screened top and all!!!" I just hope that DD2 will have room to put this darn thing somewhere in her apartment, cause I don't want it here!!!
I just have to mention here, last Tuesday quilting friend Pg, who reads Bonnie's blog daily, had just found out that Bonnie was to be in Kenora this past weekend. She was fit to be tied!!! She would have loved to have known about it sooner in order to make plans to be out there for the weekend... Kenora is only a 2 hour drive away from us, and we would have loved to attend. I wish there was communication between Kenora's guild and our Winnipeg guild, we could possilby have doubled up on Bonnie's trip out here and really make it worth her travel... 8-(
Now, time to get back to prepping my new fabrics prep for my carrot patch! I have some ideas for different looks... 8-)

Wow, I love love LOVE those fabrics!!!
Maybe DD would take the lizards away more quickly if you started making little outfits for them to wear!!! HAHAHAHAHA
Great fabric choices for more carrots! Are you bringing your 1st carrot on Wed night?
Myra, you got some realy nice fabric. Is Fabricland a quilting chain store? I have never heard of it, but looking your fabric it looks like a nice store.
I love the names of those cute little critters!! perfect!! lol!! As I am again listening to the HP books as I sew! I am on the last one, so what to listen to next....
And it's good that they are getting a bigger home, the could cause each other problems if they don't and - uh, they do get big dont't they!!
I agree, move 'em out with you when you go!!!
And I am waiting to see your bushel of carrots!!

OOOOOO...I am NOT a fan of lizards but I like your new fabric a LOT!
Hard to resist the fabric, not so sure about the lizards. Ha! They are cute when they are safely contained though.
Wow great fabric, Nice buy. Need to go to Doc's more often (wink wink).
Hi Myra, nice fabrics! Interesting construction project. Creepy looking lizards! Breakout proof is a good requirement there! Harry Potter fans, I see!
Too bad about missing Bonnie. That would have been a good trip.

Your Fabricland must be a whole lot different than the ones around here. Those are pretty fabrics!
