Well, it was a very late dinner, but we had it!!! We expected it to be a 6:30pm meal, but by the time everyone got here it was more like a 7:30pm meal. At least we were all together! 8-)I meant to get a photo of the food before it got dug into, but..... You know how that goes! So this is the closest thing
to it! On the menu was beef, chicken, layered salad, coleslaw, potato salad, cake and ice-cream! Mmm....This is DD2, my mom and dad (the anniversary couple), and DD1.
Then there is my baby brother 8-) and his wife, my s-i-l... They have been married for 25 years. They are the one's that are getting the "anniversary quilt" if it ever gets done!!! I shall be working on it at the day retreat this Sunday! I am hoping to make a good day of it, and have the binding and sleeve on this week! Then, there will be another BBQ dinner to host! 8-)

DS and his new/first GF. Seems like a nice girl. Not shy at all. Our girls found
her chatty enough, pleasant...Ruby passed out cold on DD1's lap after a zillion laps of the backyard... 8-) She had us all laughing! She's a little nut! In one month she will be a year old already!
Lastly, cause we were all looking at DD2's photos from her trip Down Under, is a photo of her holding a 6 year old Koala named Wendel... She said that he felt more wooly than furry... Cute hey!? 8-)

Looks like everyone had a good time and the food looks yummy. The new girl friend looks cute. I am glad you seem to like her ok. Love the picture of daughter and Koala. I want one!!!!!!
Wowzer the food looks great and looks like fun was had by all, even the dogs! LOL Nice lookin' cake too! I'm sure your parents appreciated the time and effort! QGB
