Tonight was our Crescentwood gathering night, so I have a few "show & tells" for you all... Eye candy... It is funny, the gals are getting my attention saying, "Myra, photo of so-and-so's quilt!" 8-) We were 14 strong tonight... A\ND we celebrated K's birthday too! Hope you had a nice dinner out with the family K! 8-)This is Yn's "Bag in progress" that she was working on tonight. Love the colors! A nice bag to tote around once done! 8-)
This is Sd's "Mile-a-Minute" creation! A nice scrappy look! Scrap busting at it's best! She says it's for the dogs!!!! YIKES! I think we convinced her to use it as a car quilt... Whew....
Ls is making loads of different Placemats. Every time we see her she has a different set of 4 that she is working on... You go L!!! 8-)
J spent some time laying out and rearranging her blocks at the day retreat we had on Sunday. She also managed to put a few of the rows together too that day. She brought the quilt top to show tonight, and is starting on something else now... Great job J! Looks good! 8-)
This is Dl's "Sudoku Quilt". She spent the evening "un-stitching" the numbers she had stitched in a light color on to some blocks. She decided to use black thread because it will show up better... She used beautiful fabrics in this one! Very colorful and lovely... as per D's usual! 8-)
We also had a "funny" photo, but I promised I would not post it... But I will email it to the gals! Hehehehe...... 8-)
I spent the evening doing applique. I am not completely happy with my new glasses... I still can't see the close up work as good as I had hoped. They were also giving me a bit of problems driving home, so I think I will be taking them back to see what the problem is...
Tomorrow is Wonky Bits day! I have a feeling we will be a small group tomorrow... not too many available for the day.... 8-(

Love the photos. Bet you can't guess which my favourite is.
Where did you get the pattern for the pin cushion/threadcatcher you have on your side bar.
Love and hugs Gina xxx
I love the colors on the Soduko quilt and I think the Mile-a-Minute should be at least on a sofa or somebody's bed. I really like it.
the black sashing of the crumb blocks sure makes them pop! What a beautiful peice. Sorry the dogs will miss out, but I too hope a human or two enjoys it first!
Myra, I think it's wonderful that you belong to so many stitch groups. You must find it very inspiring to be around like-minded people. Since being housebound I've been relying on my fellow bloggers for inspiration and it's been great!
I love all the quilts you show on your blog! You are lucky to have so many creative friends. I hope you get your glasses fixed soon so you can see better. I want to see more of you applique!!! Great work!
The pictures are wonderful ,what talented ladies .I noticed your X bag on the side bar ,was it hard to do ? I ordered the pattern ,it should be here any day .I may have to call on you for help .
Yes indeed it was a great evening, too bad I had to leave early to go out to dinner with my family for my birthday! Seriously though it never ceases to amaze me what these gals create and always look forward to every Wed night. I think we definitely feed off each other. QGB
