Sew & Tell

Went to our Wednesday night gathering tonight. Our As has been busy, and we haven't seen her in a couple of weeks. Tonight she showed us 3 table runner tops she's doing for hostess gifts over Christmas... Just a "little" something to give she says...
They're wonderful As!!! 8-)
This is Jc's fully finished puzzle quilt!!! Yaaaaaaay! Way to go Jc!!! Looking good! 8-)
Remember this quilt top in the making? Well here it is just waiting for the binding to be hand sewn down... Pg went to use the frame and quilting machine at our friend's shop again, only this time she just did free motion meandering all over. She said it only took her 3 hours...
Close-up photo below.... The quilting looks wonderful Pg!!! Love the thread color... 8-)

And so you don't think I've been doing nothing, here is a peek at my last and finished secret surprize (SS)!!! After a washing and wrapping it will be off to it's destination with the rest of the SSs.... I hope it gets there soon as I am bursting to show them.... LOL! 8-)

Once the SSs are out of here I plan to tackle the Hollyhock project till done!!! Should take a week... Then on to bigger and maybe new things!!!

Happy stitchings and goodnight!
Myra

I thought I'd just try blogging and if I liked it I'd spend time thinking of a good name but by that time I had readers etc so I'm kind of stuck with the one I put in without any thinking. Too bad because back then there were only about 20 quilting blogs that I could find so hardly any names were taken. Oh well, at least people know mine is mostly about quilting.

Those are wonderful hostess gifts.

I have always loved the puzzle quilt and hope to someday do one.

Glad you haven't been bored.

Thanks for showing me what you and your group have been up to!! Since I have been working, I have not been able to get to a meeting at my guild....this should change come the new year. I think??? Anyways, it is nice to see things that inpire a person to keep working on their own stuff - to get them done. And after 2 months of really not sewing, I am feeling desperate to let my creative jeanie out again!!! Thanks again for the show Myra!!!
