... and I'm doing more unpacking!!! 8-)
I was getting tired of the boxes being in my way in my bedroom closet. So, for whatever reason, today I decided to unpack them. To see what I have and haven't been missing.

These figurines are not collector items, nor expensive (I think), but they hold special memories/feelings from my childhood when we used to visit Grandma and Grandpa...
I filled this vase with items I found in a plastic container. The red sand is from Prince Edward Island, and the other seaside goodies are only a few items from our children's efforts of beachcombing on the beaches of Newfoundland...

Now, time to do the alterations on DD2's dress for her Christmas banquet on Friday... 8-)
Happy stitchings!

The figurines are very cute. I have a similar pair that were always at my parents place. I think they belonged to my grandmother which would make them pretty old, given my advanced age. Lol.
Love the beach treasures. Mostly cause I love the beach.
I have a whole bag of sand AND dirt from the east coast if you would like some of that too. I have enough to plant a whole garden of potatos! Kidding. But I have plenty for sharing if you are looking for more! I guess I should do something with mine too hey?
I love your figurines! Keep up the good work! It's been a good week for us!

It is not always the expensive things that are dearest to you but rather the ones with the childhood memories.
