Party Night and a Show and Tell...

We had our Christmas dinner/party last night! We were 23 strong, though one gal had to leave early, thus we miss her in the photo, and 7 others couldn't make it... I didn't realize our group was so darn big!!! A great group of ladies, with much fun and laughing!!! 8-)
The food was wonderful! A full turkey dinner/pot-luck!
Yum..... Thanks Sd, ladies!!! 8-)

This blurry photo, but lovely quilt was made by Cd, for a grandmother, to bring to China for her grandchild... Love the colors/fabrics Cd!!! 8-)
We played a couple of games, always fun, and I won the green FQ. It has some gold running through it... The Red Hats pattern I picked out of a pile of things that Cd wanted to unload... Thanks Cd! 8-)
I am impatiently waiting for Lurline's parcel to show up at her place now that Julie has received hers. It should be any hour now...
Jenny and Blossom's will take a while yet...

DD2 came to try on her dress after the alterations. Thank goodness I didn't have to change it and do any more alterations. I sure didn't like working with that stretchy slippery fabric...

Hope you are all staying fairly healthy with the hustle-bustle of the season...
Happy Stitchings!
Myra

Looks like you are busy Myra. I don't like working with slippery fabrics either. I think you need to work too hard to get just the right tension, etc. Hope you aren't too snowed in yet. If I don't talk to you till next week....Have a very Merry Christmas!
