Post # 399... Sew and Tell

It was a quilt night today! Small group of 10. I think a bunch of the gals are still out of sorts from the retreat also... 8-)

This is Pg's Stained Glass Grapes... she mentioned the name of the pattern, but my memory is toast tonight... Isn't it lovely!?! 8-)
This is also Pg's! Something she made in a class a very long time ago now... She's never hung it up for display because of what her eyes see...?... I think it is wonderful and should be hung up in my place... lol... 8-)
This is Dk's. She said "when you have scraps, make a quilt!" and that is exactly what she did, in flannels... Dk is donating it to Project Linus when done... I think it will be well loved and snuggled by some small child! 8-)
Michelle had emailed me to asked how I went about having my weekend posts all ready and scheduled to pop up while I was gone. I sent her an email back with visual photos of the steps, that she had no trouble figuring out. "Easy peasy" as she said! 8-)
If anyone else would like this info, feel free to e
mail me, and I will pass that info email on to you... 8-)

Took my blocks out of the box today and loaded them up on the display wall, only to find an error in the "falling" block below... One of the girls at the retreat said something in one corner looked "off", but I didn't see it, so thought it was all fine... Well, I gots some frogging ta do now!!! 8-/
OH my...! Soooooo much for me to get caught up on! I am so out of sorts still from my weekend retreat! Do be patient with me. I will get around to visiting everyone again... you know I will! 8-)

Ya know what that means! "Next post" is my anniversary/400th post giveaway!!! I think the winner will be telling me what colors she likes, cause the bag needs to be made still! Good luck everyone! 8-)

looks like it'd be an easy block to get a peice or two reversed in... I would have been frogging a lot before now!

Glad to get the low-down about the retreat tonight. It was also fun discussing the next retreat in Oct!

Your quilt looks great. I could see the boo boo for a while but it will be an easy one to fix.

I can't understand why that gal won't hang that quilt up in her house, either. It would look lovely on SOMEONE'S wall! Sorry you have to rip stuff out of your quilt.....I didn't even notice it myself when you showed it the other day. :(

Love the grist mill wall hanging. Tracking down grist mills and covered bridges have long been a hobby of mine. Guess I yearn for simpler times. The most we ever found was in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Your quilt is coming along nicely. I love that stained glass grapes one. I wish you could remember the pattern. My daughter makes wine and it would be a nice addition to her wall.

Another bunch of great pics. The quilt on your design wall is looking super. It won't take you long to fix that boo-boo!

Yes, it was very easy to follow your directions. I love the landscape and the grapes are great! Enjoy your frogging. I did a lot of frogging all last weekend. I making my scrap quilt even more scrappy so I had quite a bit to take out. I just try to remember how much better the quilt will look in the end.

I guess I am not very observant, because, I never would have seen any booboos if you hadn't pointed them out. I think it is looking beautiful. I also loved the other quilts you posted pictures of. I agree, I would be happy to hang that picture quilt in my house. I sure wouldn't hide it. LOL Winona

They are all very nice. Once again I admire all that you get involved in and get accomplished!

My brain is not so bright now, I can´t see how the block should be.

LOL My eyes must be off today!~ I looked and looked at your falling block before I noticed anything amiss! :-) Sorry you have to rip-it! Hmmm, I wonder what your friend 'sees' in the mill? I'd hang it up too! Thank you again for the inspirations!! ;-)
