On a roll in the sewing room... 8-)

Tuesday...
Here is some prep work I did yesterday. I have all the pieces cut out to bring to Wonky Bits on Thursday...
I had also gotten the cuttings ready for 6 more cat blocks to have sewn together to give to Jc on Wednesday night at the club... Hopefully she will have enough cats to put the quilt together soon...
Story in this post here by cats blocks...
This is the quilt that Lp was binding last night at our Country Rose quilt night for her new grand-daughter... A tiny precious she is... 8-)
Wednesday...
The cats got put together earlier today... A couple of funky looking ones! All ready for Jc now... 8-)
I got the binding made, and the iron on interfacing attached to the X-Bag pieces this afternoon, and it's all ready to bring to Wonky Bits tomorrow... I will be bringing my Pfaffy along, shock of all shocks!!! 8-)
At the club tonight I traced out all of my pieces for the Hollyhock pattern onto the steam-a-seam pages... There were only 5 of 23 at the club as it was a provincial guild meeting night (most of the gals are members)... Thus, no show and tell... 8-(
And this is what I came home to by my back door... SNOW!!! It had been raining all day, and now it is snowing...in May!!! Go figure... 8-(I am looking forward to Wonky Bits tomorrow...
Sew & Tell? Most likely!
Till then....

I think you better take those chairs inside again otherwise you won´t find them. How will you applique the flowers of the Hollyhock pattern?

I like the fabrics you chose for the X bag~ is the dark denim? What kind of interfacing did you use? I used Decor Bond~ and whew! that was thick to sew through!!

I hope the snow leaves for good soon!! :)
Have a great day!~

HOw cool are those cat blocks! The bag will be nice when it is done, the pattern looks like it will be a bag that is very versitile - a good thing!
