From under the deck...

We have a very low deck, and that is where some rabbits live all winter I'm sure... You saw the Momma and Poppa on Saturday's post, they were frolicking in our front yard... I had mentioned not having seen any baby bunnies yet... Well, here is one of them! Photos taken Tuesday... 8-)
It is about the size of a hamster right now... There were two babes out, but the one was very skittish! The photos were taken from my dining-room/kitchen windows... Isn't it sweet!?! 8-)
I am curious to know how many there are... The cats in the area have been coming onto our yard... Not good for the bunnies, as I am sure that some of the cats may find there way under the deck... So far my fur-girls have just been sticking their noses under the deck, and I hope I will not be finding them (Ruby mainly) under the deck at any time soon... 8-/

Edit: Caught the 2 bunnies later in the day yesterday... 8-)

Sweet bunnies. Looks like you had a ton of fun Monday. I'm still laughing at the Kermit post.

Most babies are cute but your little bunnies are soooo special. I hope the cats stay away.

I hope the fur girls don't find them. My dog found some once and it wasn't pretty. Little bunnies are so cute!

How cute! We had a bunny hopping through our yard just last night too! He stopped and ate some dandelion greens for quite a while, then went on his way. Today we saw a fox walk right out of the woods and up the street! Sometimes we have flocks of turkeys strut through our backyard too! So much wildlife and we're only about 2 miles from downtown!
