Wonky Bits Day!

A very good day today at our Wonky Bits gathering. There were 10 ladies there to enjoy each other's company, and oh boy did we have lots of laughter today!!! Wow!! 8-)

First photos is of Kn's quilt as you go place-mats that she brought along to stitch the bindings on. The brighter one is made up of fabrics from her daughter'
s childhood clothing, from a very long time ago (35-40yrs)... Very cute! 8-)

The next two photos are of Kn's prep work for two landscape projects. She had wanted to take a class to learn this, but then thought "naw...I can figure this out!". She had two newspaper photos that she liked, and we all agreed that she was headed in the right direction with her fabrics choices. We look forward to seeing more Kn... 8-)

This is a baby/child's quilt that Lp is making, for a friend of her daughter's that is expecting... only thing is she found out this week that it is going to be twins now!!! Oh joy! Best get busy there Lp! LOL! 8-)
Today we helped Lp sandwich this one...

This is J's work in progress. A gift for a very, very close friend... her hubby! For Christmas I believe!! She is a constant little worker... You go girl! 8-)
And too my surprise when I came home, my winnings in the mailbox from Helena of Syverkstan in Sweden. Woohoo! The Dancing Flowers pattern is to be 60.5"x72.5" finished. Thanks again Helena! 8-)
I hope you all had a good day also! 8-)

I belong to a small group of about 10 quilters. We always have loads of fun. How did you come up with the group name?
