Four years ago I took a quilting class to make the Persian Star. The book the pattern comes out of is "Wedge Works" by Cheryl Phillips with Linda Pysto.One template came with the book (the clear one in the photo, the only one I used for my wall-quilt), and there is a set 8 other templates that c
an be ordered for other interesting patterns in the book.I got the book and templates from a gal, through the gal that taught the class, so I couldn't say where you could find it...

Glad you found the pattern for the star. Did you find the tutorial for the thread catcher yet? Happy searching! I just hate it when I can't find something in my quilt stuff, it's sooooooooooo frustrating!
what an absolutely stunning front cover. I so want the info but please oh please do NOT send it to me -- temptation might be too hard to resist and I truly don't need another pattern around here!
That's an interesting looking quilt. I'm with Quilt Pixie though. I don't need any more projects.
