Tuesday Tidbits...

I was playing around in "Paint" a bit with Holly Jolly today. Julie suggested a pale green, QGB agreed with Julie and added the thought of the yellow, and CMC also suggested a yellow but thin inner boarder. Although the colors are off, I made this up to see what might look best. Yellow, red, green, maybe off white, for an inner boarder.... I know I do want teal for the outer ... Click on the photo to see a bit better...I even managed to fake a binding in there...LOL! 8-)

No stitching today, folded laundry, enjoyed the fresh air on the deck with the fur girls for a bit, grocery shop, made supper... You know! .... those "have to do" kind of things.... 8-/

Any of you bloggers interested in dressed up dolls? Check out this post on Brenda's blog Ageing Wisdom. She had 10 dolls featured there, as well as a doll quilt and pillows... A very crafty lady that Brenda is! 8-)

I just discovered Heather (she left a comment) 8-) Go to her blog "Quilt or Stitch?" and check out the lovely quilt she made for her grandmother! That is one lucky grandma!!! In her comment to me she mentioned working with the Holly Jolly fabrics too, so, you know, I had to look! Have a peek! 8-)

I love all the traffic/comments I've been getting the last few days. So many "new to me" blogs to investigate! Some more very talented quilters/stitchers to get inspired by. I will eventually get to visiting each one! 8-)

i like the red best. I could spend all day reading blogs if I let myself, and still not come near reading all that I want to. When I started I could only find a dozen or so.

Myra, I love the teal!!! It makes the little bits of teal in the quilt just pop out!

I like the look of a narrow golden yellow border with the teal. Good luck with the shopping and see you later!

I've never seen these Holly Jolly fabrics in person but have liked thm ever since I saw them springing up in blogland last year. I remember JudyL's quilts she made with hers. ;)

Hi Myra,
I don't know how or why I missed this post, but wanted to say Thanks for what you said about me. I would have a hard time picking the color. I like teal and red and well, all colors really. Ha
Have a great day!
