Long weekend Monday....

Just looking through my photos I took yesterday at our friend's 25th anniversary vow renewal celebrations. We had a great time! After Mass we celebrated the anniversary, a baptism, and our priest's last Mass with us, with a cake and coffee reception. We are sad to Fr.M him go, but understand his transfer.

This is W & J with their son's W & A. Wonderful friends that we have know for about 16 years now... We have been through a lot together.

W & J with Fr. M
renewing their vows. It was a tearful time. Happy tears for the renewal, and struggle tears for a lot of events they have experienced over the years. 8-)

This is their 25th Anniversary Quilt that has an edible pho
to of their wedding day. Very cool, and very yummy! 8-)

There was about 25 of us that went back to W & J's house for a big Chinese Dinn
er Feast! Mmmmm......Lots of food and laughter! 8-)

Next year is our big quarter century celebration. Oh what to do/plan?! 8-)

Today is the long weekend Monday. It is a cloudy humid day. Laundry is on the go and a visit to my parents is a must, so off we go...

Tomorrow my attentions will go into finishing up that baby girl quilt....

Go checkout Dorothy Baker Designs to see her giveaway... better yet don't cause it will lessen my chances of winning! LOL! 8-)

LOL - you are so funny! I read this and thought - Wow she is going to make us a quilt that looks like a table of Chinese Food from our celebration...then I thought, wait a minute here, this doesn't make sense..then I re-read AND discovered, I think you meant to type CAKE instead of QUILT and you got me ALL EXCITED that you MAYBE were surprising us with a quilt! sniff sniff

Thanks for the nice comments GF - Love you lots!

Ahahaha!!! You are tight WK! I did write "quilt" instead of "cake"!!! What a dough head hey? Such is a quilty mind.... I could change it, but will leave it or our comments won't make sense... 8-)
I did tell you I would make you a quilt though, you just have to come pick out fabrics with me! 8-)
