A few more quilt show photos...

This is the same as the one my friend Dp made...only different colors or course. This was a very busy looking quilt, but if you click on it for a close up, you will see the wonderful fabrics that were used in it... Too busy for my liking...
I think this one is called the Mexican Star...? Great fabrics! My friend V made one a while back also...
I believe that this was raw edge applique... Lovely wall-quilts hey?!
I had a lazy-dazy day today...much needed. 8-)

Lovely quilts Myra... and thanks for the suggestion on my scrappy string quilt. I think I am going to scratch through the darker blues from the scrap stash..to see if I have a big enough piece. I do think that will be the right thing to do.

Oh I like the first one~ very eye-catching! Thanks for the photo's! And a belated happy b-day to your DD. I'm glad you are back in cyberspace with us! I think I would've been to the library to use their computers if our server had been out that long. ;-)LOL Happy stitchin'!

now we're getting to quilts I remember and or photo'd myself! :-) The butterfly one was really loud and busy I must agree -- and I rather like loud, but it was screaming even for me... Sure the colours must go in someone's room perfectly...

I really like the spin cycle. Did you friend have a pattern or draw it out?
