The Keg Steakhouse...

DH took me to The Keg Steakhouse for a birthday dinner last night. It is my favorite steakhouse.

My virgin Bloody Caesar was good.
The French Onion Soup was great!
The Caesar Salad was kind of blaw.

My steak was a disappointment. Over cooked....

I ended up bringing half of my meal home for my ever hungry DS. He gobbled it up with pleasure.

DH had the prime rib with double the portion of horseradish. I don't care for it. He called it the Polish man's cocaine! Goof!

After snapping this photo of him, I told him he was starting to look like an old man. Then he snapped a shot of me, and I said "and theres the starting to look old woman to go with the starting to look old man!"

It was a very hot and humid day, and now none of our vehicles have air-conditioning, so that takes a lot out of me. Can't stand the heat, and with the humidity it is just tooooooo much for me.

Today is not much better heat-wise. I tried weeding a bit with DH, but only lasted about 20 minutes before I had to come back into the house. Thank goodness we have an air-conditioned house! That keeps me happy! 8-)

We haven't gone to The Keg for years -- because our last experience was somwhat like yours.
Send the heat and humidity this way -- I love it!

Hey! Happy belated birthday! I'm glad you got taken out for supper . . . but the Keg? Last time we were there we were VERY disappointed. When you spend huge bucks for a meal and come away puzzled . . . it's not a good thing! Hot and humid here too . . . summer has arrived. Have a great week and hope it cools down for you - no storms though. Maybe you can see the fireworks later tonight. ttyl - Marlene

I have always been disappointed with the Keg too. I want to go where the food is something I can't make at home. I can make better steak than The Keg. We usually go ethnic, preferably Thai or Japanese.
