It figures.....

Yup! I should have expected it! Always happens! Why get Mom to sew something 2-3 weeks ago when you first get the stuff, when you can ask her the day before you have to fly out of Winnipeg!?! I just figures! DD#2 "Mom, can you sew these 2 Canadian flags on my back-packs?" So, in my wisdom I tried to hot clue them on. It had worked before.... but not this time. OK, this should take not time at all. Didn't want to change the settings on my Pfaffy, so did it by hand.....2 hours later.... grrrrrr! Those things are darn hard to sew through, but they are on!!!

I forgot to mention a purchase I made on Friday when I went to the mall with Wendy. Found a nice light pant suit for my aunt and uncles 50th wedding anniversary coming up later this month. It will be nice to see the whole family again....on a happy occasion, rather than a funeral again!

Hopefully I will get into the sewing room again tomorrow to do more battle with my quilting....not going to great!

Sorry to hear you're frustrated too; which project is giving you a hard time?? Things are a bit better for me but still feeling frustrated! QGB

what a nice mom -- my answer would have been "I'll be happy to get you a needle a thread dear -- here you go...." :-)

Hi Myra~
LOL, kids will always be kids, won't they? :-) Hope your DD has a good time on her trip.
I love looking at all your finishes on your sidebar! Nice projects! Which of your UFO's are you working on?
My poor pfaffy is in the shop, but I have 2, so back to sewing I go! Actually, I have 3 now... got an oldie but goodie I need to blog about! ;-)
