Wildlife, plus Show and Tell...

Driving to my cousins yesterday, on a busy highway, I had to stop for a "Goose Crossing". There were 30 of them! Lots of this Spring's babies, and their parents. Too cute... but not the mess they all make! lol!
My cousin showed me her first quilt project she was working on, and I didn't even think to take my camera out! Duh!! She was doing a wonderful job of it! 8-)

This is my friend Sandi's garage. She emailed a few photos of her new "pets" (circled in red) she just found in there... I think she mentioned there were 4 babies. Her cat is laying there in front...
Don't know if there is a Momma around... Yikes!!! A delicate situation...
Sandi always has "something" going on at her place. I look forward to hearing what happens now... Good luck Sandi!! 8-)

Here is 1 show and tell from last night's Country Rose gathering... Pc is into making baby quilts, bumper pads, bed skirts just now for a new grandchild... This top still needs a couple of borders put on yet... Her own design...
Show and tell from tonight's CCC gathering...
This is Dl's QTM (quilt of the month)
quilt top for July...
You can read what that is about at the link provided if you are curious...
This is another of Dl's creations that she had started a while ago...
 Here we have Sg's Bargello...
Just thought I'd show you my birthday goodies from my CCC gals... My color request was for purples... With this added to my stash, I think I have enough purples collected now to make a purple quilt... Thanks friends! 8-)
Thanks for all your comments on my progress of my grand-baby-to-be's Sunshine quilt top in my previous posts! 8-)

Take care friends, and happy stitching!
 Myra

AND.... I leave you with a video of a dog trying to get a stranger to throw a stick... Too funny!! Enjoy!

I am with you on the geese. They look cute, but I don't want them here. LOL Great quilts and wonderful purple fabrics. I also enjoyed the dog video. Poor thing. LOL Have a good day.

Well, Myra, you inspire me in so many ways, I can't tell you.

LOVE that bargello quilt!!!! Tell Sg I said it's Beautiful!!!!!!

And the wildlife pic - I would have loved to have seen them walking across the road!! yes, they do make a mess (why though??? Everything has it's reason for being here, but that much???? lol)
but one thing about these geese - I sure love to see them in the sky coming home, and hate to see them leave in the fall!!! So, I am glad to see that they have more to teach the rules of migration this year!!

You are going to have to ask Pc for her how-to's on her quilt patterns!! Be the firs to help her on her new 'designer' career!!! tht is one pretty pattern she has created! I love bright, happy, cheerful quilts!! And that is one fantastic quilt!!

Dl has been busy too!!! Lookin' good!!

And I love that the cat is just "eh, as long as I can lay in the sun, all is good" with the skunks there!!! Skunks are good to have aroun though. They get rid of some critters - humans too if they get to close!!!

And I think I want a new camera.... or another memory card or something!!! I have been told I am coming back to our guild this Sept. Kicking and screaming if they have to, but I am coming back!! And I would love to have a littler camera than I have to take pics of their work! Just so I can remember what they've done!!
Bargello is on my future list - they are soooo pretty!!! It is on the screen right now as I type, so its distracting me!!

Okay, off to finish my project. Then back to cleaning/tiding and the mystery that starts today!! I am not even going to look at it till the binding is sewn on.... and that is what I am supposed to be doing now!!! lol! bye!
