My November Block is done!!
Two weeks ahead of time yet!! Not like me at all... I knew it was going to be a hard one, so it would be best to get at it right away... Now it is out of the way "YAHOO" and I can focus on my row for our Row Robin Project that is due soon...
This block had seams galore!!! Too many in my mind, considering that this was supposed to be a BOM of simple blocks... I know many gals in my group will struggle with this block also...
I did lots of picking and resewing...
I did manage to achieve a 12+1/2" finish though...
Hard to do with so many seams...
I made duplicates of the first 2 blocks, and made a simpler November block for myself, though the 4 patch is quite striking in appearance, I wasn't about to battle another today... 8-)
Tomorrow I will show you some Show & Tell photos...
Happy stitchings!

Great blocks Myra. I can see how this month's would be fiddly though. I hope it doesn't put off your ladies
Love and hugs Gina xxx
The back of the block looks good. You handled all those seams well. And I did not mean to imply that the front of the block does not look good. It is just that the way you have pressed the seams on the back caught my eye.
Those block of the month clubs are so much fun . . . you never know what's coming until it gets here. Love the block you made and congrats on the 12 1/2 inches . . . not an easy feat by any means. Have a great weekend! - Marlene
Look at you getting ahead of the group!!! ;-) I think your Nov. blk is a great one - and you did a great job on it - perfectly sized too! (or did you sneakily cut some off??? lol) I can feel my creative side bubbling when I see your photo's!! Thanks for the battery charge - I appreciate it!!!
It's a beautiful block - but I'm actually glad to hear that somebody else struggles with getting accurate block sizes, especially with lots of little pieces. One of my bug-a-boos is those ****triangles - somehow they always end up out of square!! Got any tips?
Your blocks are looking great!
