Whew! Finally Lilly received her goodies from my giveaway...
I was starting to worry it got lost!
Would you believe that sending the package "Airmail" to Lilly took 11 days to reach her in the USA, and when I had sent my 200th post giveaway one to Kerry in Australia it only took 8 days "overland and sea"!!! I had been told at that time it would take 5 to 6 weeks to reach her... Go figure!?! 8-/
But I am very glad indeed that the package reached it's destination... 8-)

Wow. Lucky Lilly. I know what you mean about the postal service. Even just in Ont. when my daughter sent me stuff from Thunder Bay, it didn't take long at all but when I (in TO) sent her stuff, it seemed to take forever.
Myra, what a relieve Lilly got her lovely give away. I can understand you were nervous and hoping the package is not lost in the mail.
What a beautiful package! It is such fun getting things in the mail. I am looking forward to the things I receive in my swaps.
You never know with the post office, as long as your parcel gets to it's destination...
I wonder why that happens -- I've had the exact same experience. Send something to Europe and it's there within 4 days. Send it to the U.S, even to a state bordering our province, and it takes at least 10 days -- and more often longer.
Glad to hear Lilly received her package. I don't send things overseas much so I wouldn't know the reason for the delay. It looks really pretty though and I am sure she is enjoying it.
