Nothing much going on this week, but I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Still mending from my fall on Sunday too...
Doing some major cleaning and preparing our guest room for my friend Ht from Thunderbay. She is flying in for a visit early on Saturday for a few days. I am looking forward to that cause we haven't seen each other for about 2 years! We met in the late 80's, with our young children, when we all lived in Dryden for a couple years... 8-)
I was to attend a quilt day retreat this coming Sunday, but I have decided just an hour's visit there with Ht will probably be enough for her... Bummer for me, but hey, there WILL be other events for me to attend... lol! There always is! 8-)
I finally, FINALLY, figured out how a lot of you gals get your comments directly to your email for easy responding!!! I may respond more often now! lol! 8-)
Now, you were probably wondering about the "peanut-butter" in my subject line. Well, Annemiek and I have emailed a bit about all the "yummy" Dutch foods from Holland that my family enjoys here in Canada. I grew up with them....
I was brought back to a memory from 1994, and thought to post about it. It involved a jar of Peanut-Butter that we enjoy here across North America.
We had shocked the heck out of my cousin's family (from Holland) on that first morning we shared breakfast with them during their stay with us... They could not believe the size of peanut-butter container (2kg) that could be bought here!!! Needless to say, they brought a jar or 2 home with them... lol! 8-)
Hand and wrist are feeling better, since my fall Sunday, but I think there is something going on with a nerve in my knee... Can't kneel. Very painful shoots of pain happening... Perhaps a trip to the doctors is in order...?... 8-(
Unless I have some show & tell from our gathering to post about tonight, I may not be posting for a few to several days... so don't worry Neighborette Dk! All is good! lol! 8-)

Yes, it is handy to have everything come to your email, I woulda helped you set it up if I knew you wanted to do that! There are some great tutorial blog sites out there! ;-)
Oh no. Sometimes we think we escape these falls and then they come back to haunt us. Hope you recover soon!
2 kg of peanutbutter?? OMG My kitchencabinets are too small for that. it's true that everything is bigger on your side of the pond.
If they'd sell hagelslag etc. in these amounts here, grocery shopping is more like powerlifting *lol*
I hope you are healing and that your knee is also getting better otherwise you have to go to the doctor!!! 2 kilos of peanut butter is MUCH.
