This and that...

B-I-L's slippers started... DH slippers are done.

Yahoo!!!! Five days till the Crescentwood St.Malo Retreat!!! This morning I woke from such a bad nightmare about it all!!! It was about the building and workers, not at all about the gals, the sewing, or the fun... Sure glad it was only a dream...

Went to Costco yesterday and bought DD2 a computer chair for her belated birthday. She didn't know what she wanted back then and I wasn't going to buy just anything. Glad she came up with a thought about it! 8-)

DS took his GF to the revolving restaurant for her birthday last night. She had never been there before and really enjoyed it. 8-)

My father's 75th birthday is coming up on Nov 30th. The family is getting together for lunch to celebrate that day... 75 already! Wow! That can only mean one thing, I am getting older... LOL!!! 75... Wow!

Not much stitching going on besides the knitting this weekend... 8-(

Glad your knitting is getting done, you're just saving your sewing energy for the retreat that's in..... 5 more sleeps! Yay!!! Sorry you had a nightmare about it, I'm sure everything will be just fine, like last time, right Myra ??????
Now relax about it and figure out what projects you plan to work on....

Myra, I have to say those are pretty snazzy looking slippers your husband is wearing!

My Dad turned 75 a couple years ago and 7 out of their 8 children surprised him by traveling from all over the country to be there for a very informal pizza dinner at one of my sisters' house. He was so surprised as we came out one by one that he almost choked on his pizza. So glad he didn't!

Your retreat sounds like fun, as long as your dreams don't come true!

Nice computer chair. I got one for Christmas several years ago and I wouldn't be without it now.It has saved my back and allowed me to blog for hours on end. Lol. Maybe it wasn't such a good thing after all!
