Happy, happy, happy I am!!! The mailman brought me a package today... and my Kraft cooking mag... although I don't cook much... Better things to do... 8-)
The package came from Brenda's 100th post giveaway on her Scraps & Stings blog.
Brenda had a lovely Textiles postcard in the package. (click on photos for a closer look-see) Also in the package is the lovely quilt top that I won. Brenda made it about 5 years ago. Now that it is in my hands, we shall see what I can contribute to it, and see how I will finish it off... sometime in 2009... hopefully... 8-)
Thanks Brenda! Hope you are enjoying the sun today! 8-)
Edit: I forgot to mention, Pg gave me some fabric that she thought was used in the this quilt top, but I was unsure because photos and the real thing are not always the same shades... It is definitely a match Pg! Thanks! 8-)
When visiting Tere @ Tere's Stuff this morning, she posted a link to making and embroidering a fleece Christmas stocking... Check out this link to Jennifer Stern's How to Embroider a Festive Polarfleece Stocking. Great idea for givings!!!
The other day I was led to a wonderful blog by Kerri of Kerri's Provincial Patch. The site is Natalie Ross in Stitches. Just gorgeous eye candy and ideas there!!! Kerri also has a few other designer blog list in a recent post... Check it out!!! 8-)
Guess I should go and get an info email out to my city group about our quilt retreat this weekend coming... 8-)

I had the Kraft magazine in my mailbox too! Pored over it while we were making stir-fry tonight - lots of pot-luck recipes to try. Your retreat sounds interesting - makes sure you take a bunch of pictures. - Marlene
Lucky you! I haven't won anything for ages.
boo-hoo my Kraft magazine didn't come today, better tomorrow! LOL
4 more sleeps 'til retreat time......
and thanks for the email about the details Myra!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I love it when people do that!!! I also love your blog. We seem to have the same tastes!
Hugs and Happy Quilting!
Caron
It is so much fun to get fun mail.
Hi Myra, what fun! And how lucky you are *VBS* Should be alot of fun finishing up that quilt that you won. The slippers look great, and really comfy. Hugs, Finn
I get that magazine also, but sadly never use it, because I really don't like to cook any more. The slippers look nice and that is exciting that you won!
Ok, did you all know the Kraft magazine comes on-line too? It's much better that way because you don't have to worry about where you put it and you can search the recipes when you need them. Gotta love this Technology!
Myra that is a lovely quilt top. I love the colour and the simplicity of the pattern. I am anxious to see you how you finish it off!
Be well. Pop your vitamins now cuz DH is coming down with a sore throat and so prepare to tackle this one, seems no one can be free of it!
Love WK!
