C-CAS Mystery...

Yup! I finally made a decision on which fabrics to use! You were all very helpful with my dilemma, and I thank you... 8-)

So these fabrics are the finalists to be used.

Once decided, a quick cut up of all the fabrics...

Right into the stitching... So far so good!

And some more stitching...

And here we are! All caught up for the next part of the Mystery... Yahoo! 8-)
The green looks better in person... Photo has it looking kind of off, I just noticed.

Hi Myra,
Your fabrics for the mystery quilt look like they will turn out nice together. I never got round to making a start on that one. I'll be able to see what it turns out like - have been saving all the directions. I have been diligently sewing on my quilt for the swap though, slow but steady - a slight variation in seam seems to make more noticable difference in a small quilt! Have had to unpick a couple of seams. Best get back to it!

Things are lookin' good . . . it's hard making a decision when you don't know what the layout is going to be. I've got one more seam to sew and then I'll snap a photo. Have a great day! - Marlene

Myra, your colors look great together! Kind of reminds me of the Heart quilt I made for my friend ... http://www.hookedonneedles.com/2008/10/my-first-paper-piecing-quilt-project.html ... I love that green/purple/yellow combination.

great start! I'm glad you made a final choice and gogt them cut before the "reveal" of the final quilt so you're still really doing a "mystery" :-)

aha! This is a much better picture of the fabrics than the first one! I scrolled back to check if they were the same as in your first post about them. It looks like a good choice to me!

This is looking really, really nice. Sometimes it's worth pondering fabric choices before cutting into what touches your hand first.
