Wow I didn't know this makes you wonder if you should post any photo's on line .
I have heard of this. It is something you have to set in the camera. Mine isn't set 'cause I just right clicked on a photo and it did not give me the info, at least I couldn't find it.
Yes I have heard of it most recently because some work people were telling me how handy it is to pin point thier locations after a day of surveying etc. The pictures help tell the story with the location etc. Very handy BUT I never even "thought" of it being used in this way. I am VERY sure my camera doesn't have the technology to support this, but I am sure going to check now. How about you? Does yours have that technology?
Thanks for posting that - it was interesting!

I checked both my camera's a Sony and a Nikon neither one has has this GPS technology ,thank god .Something to inquire about if you are thinking of buying a new camera .Thanks for the info Myra .
I sent this link to my computer fellow ,he works on computer security for different offices this was his reply .I feel a lot better now ,I think most of us are safe .
"Yes, it is true if you have a gps enabled camera or phone. Don't worry standard cameras don't have that feature."
