Plastic Damage Done...

 The print and purple came from my stash, and today I bought the green (photo doesn't show well), burnt orange, and beige to go with it...

I also bought the light green backing fabric, which, I'm not sure which quilt it will back just now...

I couldn't resist this darling Christmas pattern...

Plus I needed more thread...

I put my March "To Do" list on my sidebar... I sure gave myself much to do this month! Yikes! Hopefully I'll get a lot of it done at the Carberry Retreat wknd coming up in 11 sleeps... 8-)

I took my mother to Cora's for lunch today!

We had a lovely visit catching up...

A wonderful day...

  Today my CCC group had a mini day retreat. As per usual, we had a wonderful day of stitching, talk, and laughter!!! We even had a few new faces there, one of them being Joanne of blog  "Thread Head"

 Joanne finished up the binding on one of her PhDs today! Her quilting on it is beautifully done...

It was wonderful meeting you today Joanne!!!
We hope that you are able to join us again sometime...8-)

Row Robin Projects Revealed...

 Well, I am home and rested from our wonderful Row Robin Retreat weekend!!! Good company, good food, lots of quilting and laughs. 

What more can a gal want? 8-)

Here are the 9 projects, in order of box number, 

and in order of rows done... 

They are all so different!!! 8-)

There were lots of wonderful comments, and "ooooos" and "ahhhhhs" flying around the room with each row reveal... Lots of picture taking too!
Each participant will sew the rows together in the order she finds appealing...

The year we spent doing this group project went by so fast, and was a very positive experience, so much so, that we've planned for another group project to be introduced in the next couple of weeks...

We had a great time in a newly built cottage on the camp & retreat facility grounds!!! 

We will be back there again!!! 8-)

Working on another finish to be...

Just started hand stitching the binding down on another finish to be!! The other project I had committed to finishing for Finn's UFO Challenge...

 I plan on working on it tonight at my CCC group. I will finish it up tomorrow at my WB group... I am hoping to post the finish tomorrow or Friday before heading out tooooo... drum roll please...
EDIT: I didn't "get'er done" as planned, but will show you Monday...

Our CCC Row Robin Retreat weekend!!!!

Yup! The big reveal is just around the corner for us, and we are excited about the getaway, as well as the reveal!!! 8-)

I plan on taking lots of photos, and hopefully the gals won't mind if I post the reveal photos of their Row Robin projects... Nine of us involved, plus one list keeper, as it was all secret of who's was who's...

My UFO is done...

 ... and now it goes on the PhD list to get done in the fairly near future....

My "Saturday Sampler" quilt top finally done!!! Feels so darn good!!! I mean, it has only been sitting around about 7 years waiting to get to this point!!! lol! 8-)

 

 Measures 86" x 98", and  only 20 of the 25 blocks went into the quilt, with these 5 left over for a wall-quilt of some description to go with it.

 So Finn, late yes, but I finally finished 1 of my UFOs for you... 8-)

On to the next item on my list...

Candle Making

QUESTION:
Is anyone else missing photos from their blogs?
I think it is a Blogger thing...?

First I must show you... See the melted puddle forming by the front step there? Drips from the roof... We went from -40*C with the wind chill on Wednesday night, to +2*C today... This is crazy!!!
