Home day, snow storm, catch-up time...

So, does my voice match what you thought? On the phone, people at times think I am a young child...

Mom will be fine today. DD1 can walk over there if she really needs some help, but Dad will do his best, all be it slow motion... 8-)

A lot of cars are getting stuck on the streets and in parking lots today, so it is indeed a good day to be at home...

Happy stitchings, quilt on!!! 8-)
Myra

PS: I have a new blogging friend, only 8 post deep, that needs some of our encouragement... She has even joined in on my PhD Challenge... Please go say hi to Joanna at "Fabric and Flowers in Texas"! 8-)

It was nice to hear a voice - one of the problems with this electronic age (among all the good things like blogs) - made the post feel a little more personal. Thanks for this - may try it some time myself.

How nice to hear your voice! You don´t sound like a child.

You don't sound like a child to me. So you get a snow day off today? Kind of like the kids getting off from school when there is a big storm. Your snow is pretty but I wouldn't want to be driving around with all of it on the roads.

Myra, that was fantastic. I loved hearing your voice and accent. You sound just lovely. I'll be hearing you now when I read your blog posts, if you know what I mean. Glad your Mum is doing well, and I can't believe all that snow!

Your snowfall is beautiful. We've only had about 3 - 4 inches this year compared to over 31 inches last year. Enjoy the snow!

Your video is super cool!!! I've tried in the past to upload them to blogger only to have to leave them up and going for hours and then not working in the end :/ I must be doing something wrong.

I hope you will do more like this looking out your window and telling of your week ;) Kinda like an update... love it! ;)

and it is so hard to believe there is snow in other parts of this country - b/c down here in SE Texas where I am for the past 4-5 days we have had weather in the 70's and sunny.

Glad to hear that your mom is doing OK ;)

Love from Texas! ~bonnie
