Any puzzlers out there!?! This is a puzzle that DD1 gave to DD2 to keep her busy while she is home on sick leave for the week... It is a VERY hard puzzle, as the photo on the box is not the whole thing, maybe a 1/4 of whole, has lots of blue, and all the puzzle pieces are the same shape! We started it here last night with Mr.Rose (her BF). They will be coming to work on it again tonight, and then DD2 will come during the day tomorrow... I love puzzles!!!
My B-I-L was here when I came home from the day retreat on Sunday. DH made us supper and gave him a hair shaving. DH is getting good at it! 8-)
Ladies, pop on over the Marlene's blog for her tutorial/pattern for a darling little wall-quilt, and while you are there, have a look around. Marlene is a very talented quilter... 8-)
Have a visit on Zlaty's blog also, to see the wonderful little design wall she and her hubby put together. Complete with how it was made... 8-)

I know you are seeing a lot of my group's sew and tells, and not much produced by me... I've been having a bit of a mojo problem this summer, or just finding other things to do. I do have my hexagons that I bring to my quilt outings, and now will be bringing my round standing quilt frame to work on hand-quilting for a while, so there really hasn't been much from me to blog about and show, thus I haven't been posting everyday either... I also haven't been keeping up with all you wonderful ladies and your blogs... "my bad!" I think today I am all caught up with my reading and comments to you now, and will hopefully keep up because I do so enjoy keeping in touch with you all... 8-)
Happy stitchings!

Hi Myra, gorgeous puzzle! I'm a puzzle lover also. Not sure about one that hard, but it does look like fun.
Hope the mojo returns from vacation soon! Hugs, Finn
thanks for the design wall link -- what a wonderful idea!
hope you have fun with the puzzle... looks too hard for me, but hopefully it'll provide hours of entertainment for DD....
I am not a puzzle person, but my daughter is - so I showed her this one.... she scrinked up her nose, said "all the pieces are the same???" I said "yup". She said "well, I guess you could get me one of these, but it will take me YEARS!!!"
I laughed!!
And stop worring or even thinking about your not sewing/quilting!! You are doing other things. At least you are not sitting on the couch, eating chips and doing nothing else!!! You - Myra - are taking some time to re-charge your batteries!!!! And if it takes a week, okay, if it's a month, perfect - if it's longer and you are ready to get back at it in the new year - fine by me!!!! Stop thinking about it!!!
I enjoy your posts. I like that you are showing what you are up to and things you see. And I will do some happy stiching!! I took the whole summer off - and it did bother me, but now, schools back in, I am getting myself to set some goals and work at them (not make goals then do something else.......ahem...) And you are part of the reason I got back at it. A year ago, I didn't know about blogs. Then I was introduced to them - and I have found some pretty amazing people on here!! (yes, YOU!!) And I am thankful I have.
Go and grab a good book or magazine, coffee or tea, put your feet up and leave this world for awhile. The work on the puzzle and laugh with your kids. And when you see something you like, and take a pic of it and want to share, I'll be here, waiting patiently!! and that mojo, it's on it's way back, but enjoy the time off you have while it's on vacation. Who knows when it will let you have time to rest again once it gets back!!
Have fun with your puzles - you will get the stitching bug when it is ready to come back!
Hugs - Lurline♥
Cool puzzle! We love 'em too. :-) Hand quilting sounds like a good start to recovering your mojo.
I've never seen a puzzle where the pieces are all the same shape, very interesting.
We used to do puzzles here before the onset of Facebook, Blogging and Quilting. That one looks too hard for me!
Hi Myra,
I like puzzles but some are very hard. The last one me and my hubby worked on was a fall one and the picture on the cover was bigger then the puzzle itself, so we coudn't see many details. I don't know why they don't give picture of the puzzle itself! We didn't finish ours since I decided I wanted my dining room table back! :) I think it's harder if they are the same shape. Ours were different and I think it helped.
Thanks for mentioning my blog! The design wall was made very easy and I really like it! Now I want to make a bigger one.
You girls had fun at the retreat! Great projects!
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Zlaty
I think it is so much fun to do a puzzle especially with someone else. This one must be tricky. Your mojo will come back, someday, don´t worry what we think.
Summer is a busy time. Good to have you back. Good luck with the puzzle.
I love doing puzzles. That is part of the reason why I love quilting so much. I find it easier now with young children to have fabric out rather than a half done puzzle. I do miss it though.
