What a cool day we are having today... I was cold in bed last night too. Felt like putting the furnace on again... Very weird summer... Indeed!!
I washed up my cup I use for lugging around, and thought to see how many of you lug your own mug on outings to meetings and such...

My quilting mug and padded bag for lugging...
Mug bagged up! Ready to grab and go...Ha! I see I need to make a new label for my mug!!! Still lugging it around with my old address and phone number!!! Oops! 8-)
Taking and using your Lug-a-Mug saves on paper cups, styrofoam cups, and saves time on washing up mugs at our outings. Just bring your dirty cup home with a serviette inside to soak up cup bottoms, and pop in dishwasher...Wash bag every so often... 8-)
A lot of times I forget to bring my mug, but the intention is there... lol!
Has anyone been to Cora's restaurant here in Winnipeg? We went with friends for lunch on Saturday. What a great time we had, and the food was excellent! Even the presentation was lovely... Had a few bites before thinking to take a photo of the lovely plates... Mine on left, egg/ham/cheese wrapped and grilled in a crepe with fresh fruit. DH's on right, grilled cinnamon bun under bacon and eggs, and fresh fruit... Yummy! 8-)
My winnings from a family Bridal Shower on Sunday! The candle smells wonderful, and the flowers are gorgeous. My 2 daughters also won wonderfully scented candles... We wond 4 out of 5 gifts... What a lucky day! I should have bought a lottery ticket! 8-)
Cleaning up my sewing room today! Getting ready for some serious sewing... About time too!!! Plus, at some point this week, I am going to attempt to make my blog into 3 columns instead of the 2... wish me luck! I did our quilt group's new private blog and it went well, so I am hoping nothing disappears from mine in the process....
Have a great day!

The lug-a-mug is a great idea. I've been to Cora's a few times. Which one did you go to? We like the one in St Boniface at the Cultural Centre the best. I like that there is lots of fruit.
I will learn how to add 'cool' things to my blog to, someday..... 3 columns..... hmmmmm, well, I know you will do fine AND if anything goes on vactation when you do the renovation, you will just have them back were they belong in no time!!
I am glad you are getting back at it - me, not so much yet. And I love the mug you lug around with you!!! It is a great idea - and if we did coffe/tea at our meetings we would have to do that to!!!
We should do snacks/beverages, but we have not.
Have fun cleaning/soriing and make the best of it. yeah, it's been cold this way to - and one day we did have the furnace on!! Warmer than I have it in the winter!!! It was just cold and damp and made you chilly!!!!! Have a great week!! And sew up a warm storm!!!
Most of the guild members in Hamilton carry their own mugs if not they get charged 25 cents for a paper one .Personally I think it's a great idea less waste and less work for those in the kitchen .
I just went to a Cora's last week in Ancaster ( just out side Hamilton ) I loved it .The fresh fruit and veggies were great .
Hey Myra, great idea to take your own mug with you to meetings and such! I like your bag too.
Must be the day to clean up. I've read several blogs today saying they are cleaning up their space so they can get creative again. I'm doing the same thing!

ooo love the lug-a-mug! I've always used a travel mug, but they're not my favorite to drink from always...
Love the lug-a-mug idea!
Can you send some of that cool weather down to us here in PA?
Oh, love the mug bag,,,I'll have to find a pattern to put my mug in, usually just put in quilting bag...and we do the same here at our quilt guild ,,bring your mug or get charged to use a disposable one..seems like we are all going green with this one ...lol...thank for sharing that and your winning ...
Wow you covered a few different topics there that I can respond to . . . 1. I DID turn the furnace on at work yesterday! 2. I always take a mug with me on my quilting outings - but I need to make a bag. 3. I have been to Cora's a couple of times and love the menu and the goodness of it all. 4. I'm too scared to mess with my blog in case everything disappears - I'll be watching you and keeping my fingers crossed (no pressure there!). - Marlene
The meal at Cora's that DH had is my FAVOURITE! I always order it!
I love the Lug-a-Mug! What a great idea.
I don´t have a mug to carry around.
