This and that from this weekend...

Ruby had a bad day yesterday. She is having problems with her back legs, and she was choking some on her food. Thought I'd have to do the abdominal thrust on her! Sheesh! Not sure what the leg thing is about, hip dysplasia maybe, but I am taking her to the vets on Monday... She seems a tad better today, but I am worrid...

I did some machine quilting on my Sunflower Quilt yesterday. It is the biggist I have tackle thus far. It measures about 66"x76"... I don't know about this!!!

This is what the Rolo Ice-Cream looks like that I mentioned a few posts back. It is to die for... well not really, but you know! 8-)
Rolo chunks in chocolatish ice-cream, with streams of carmelly goodness here and there... Mmmmmmmmm.......... 8-)

Mom bought totally closed up tight daffodills on Thursday, and today they showed themselves beautifully!!!

DH played Mr. Fixit at my parents appartment today. They had a solid door to the balcony, and Mom wanted a door that would let more light in. So, DH found a new door at the Habitat Refit Store that fit the bill!!! In more ways than one. Between my DH, brother and Dad, they had the hinges and door handle in, and the door put up. Door is a tad short, but my woodsy brother will take care of that in a flash! Mom plans to paint the door white... 8-)

Tonight we head to the bar where DD2 and friend work part time. The friend is unsuspecting of the surprize birthday party in store for her there... 8-)

DD2 got her first rose from a certain young man yesterday... Hmmmm.... What's cooking up there I wonder....? 8-)

I hope Ruby is feeling better soon. Love the Daffodils, they are one of my favorite spring flowers but it's too hot for them here.

You are so lucky to have a Mr Fixit in your family. Things just stay broken around here. Lol.

Poor Ruby! Hope it's nothing serious but it's good to get her checked out.

I love the pic of your Dad supervising your DH with installing the door. LOL Lucky you that you have a Mr Fix IT. Doesn't exist around these parts, let me tell ya!

So who's the guy that likes your DD2?
Spill! We want details!!!

Hope Ruby is okay! Your husband is a great guy. The door looks similar to our front door. Is it spring yet at your place? The last time I visited here you still had s-n-o-w. Daffodils...beautiful!
