Monika, from "The Needle and Thread Network" blog, is looking for Canadian bloggers to follow her blog, in order to... Well... Just go there and read her opening info just below her header. That will explain everything, and if you are interested, follow her blog, and post about it on your blog for others to join in... I have her button in my sidebar too... "WIP Wednesday Link-up".
I started cutting up a jelly-roll of...?... I think they are 30s prints, for a new baby quilt to keep for our crib here... For when the kids come for overnight stays/visits...
I still have quite a few pieces to go up,
and more white to cut up...
I followed a friend's past BOM pattern for our group, but upon sitting back and looking at the display wall, I realized that there would have been a simpler way to piece this to basically get the same effect. Oh well... too late now...
What is on your display wall?
-------------------------------------------------
This is on my friend Pg's design wall. She doesn't have a blog. When Pg decides to make something, she just dives in and does it!!! We find her drive inspiring!! Her quilt top was inspired by Em's Leaders & Enders quilt... Pg always uses her scraps wonderfully!! ;)What is on your display wall?

Hehe You are funny. I love the intro! It's not my blog - mine is "My Sweet Prairie". I did start the network to find people just like you! ; ) So please, if you link up, consider it your blog space as much as mine : )
p.s. LOVE that last quilt : ) Thank you for finding us!

Ha! and then I READ your blog only to find out the last quilt wasn't yours. I'm a dork : )

Thanks for passing the word about the Needle and Thread Network. I just popped over there and may join in.
Pg's quilt is fabulous! Thanks for sharing. Would she mind if I shared it on my blog also? Let me know.
Your baby quilt is going to be lovely.
Those fabrics will be perfect for a baby quilt. Lovely! Tell your friend that her quilt is stunning - she's definitely a pro at using those scraps effectively. Wow!
I think your friend needs a blog. I love scrappy quilts and your is going to be cute.
Great idea to make this quilt for when the grandies come to visit ,it is going to be so cute. I also love your friends quilt , so nice and scrappy.
So how many quilts do you think Gramma will make for the baby? It's going to be lovely. I'm on my way to check out the blog link - we Canucks must support each other. Pg's quilt is lovely - I wish I had half her drive!
I like tactile treasures. I especially like making things so the grand babies can cuddle into. Yay for Manitoba!
What fun to make a baby quilt that will stay at your house for your grandbaby to use when visiting! I have a raggy flannel quilt in progress on my design FLOOR!!!
