Why I named my blog as...
As quilters, we all love the feel of fabrics, especially new fabrics. Thus I chose "Tactile".
Working with, and creating with fabrics, is purely a pleasure... For the most part right!?
So I chose to add "Pleasures".
I thought, "Tactile Pleasures" alone may not be good, as you never know what might pop up on the internet if you google just that, so I added "in Fabrics" to cover my butt so to speak... LOL!! 8-)
And there you have it! The meaning behind my blog name "Tactile Pleasures...in Fabric".

So glad you joined in ... I've always thought your blog name was very clever :o)
It's a great name - certainly catches they eye!
..and it's so much better than "the thimble, the quiltneedle, sewing basket, needle and thread" etc.
Picking a name IS hard and difficult to change once choosen!

Love your blog name! And I had to laugh at your reason to add "...in fabric"! haha I would not have thought of the possible concerns with just having someone google search "tactile pleasures".
