Home from the retreat...

We had another wonderful weekend of food, laughs, and stitching...and sleep! A few of us really love the mattresses at this cottage! 8-)

Here we have the workshop area...
Cutting table along with a peek
of the mealtime table.
 Loft with some wonderful WIPs...
Added WIPs later in the evening.
The 2 at right & 1 below are PhD items...
The snow "WAS" all gone, but Friday night
it started coming down...
... and Saturday morning all was covered & sitting in the trees... It all looked lovely & peaceful...
One friend was working on her BH Mystery...
One was machine embroidering horse heads for a quilt for
a relative...

She was also working on
this piece...

This is a donation quilt in the making by another friend...
A young mom that works at the camp where we rented the cottage, came by to show us the quilts her mother had made for her 3 children...
They are adorable...
Here we went for a walk to see the camp's horses...
Notice the snow was all gone AGAIN?! 8-)
It was cold out though...

I'm so proud of the progress I am making on the baby sweater!!! First time following a pattern!! Making the hood just now... 8-)
Guess what? I'm getting excited at the prospect of becoming a grandma... It takes me a while to adjust with life's changes... 8-)

Have a great week everyone!

Now to get caught up on some visits!
Myra

How fun it must have been! I like the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt the best. I think I would have enjoyed working on one of those too.

What a beautiful place you were at for your retreat. You're baby sweater is coming along nicely. I'm not coordinated enough to hold 2 needles and actually make them do something. (love the color you picked for the sweater)

Two retreats in one in one year - lucky lady. Being a grandmother is wonderful. My mother told me that I am spoiling my granddaughter rotten. Yup, Mom, I am - big smile.
