We had another wonderful weekend of food, laughs, and stitching...and sleep! A few of us really love the mattresses at this cottage! 8-)

A young mom that works at the camp where we rented the cottage, came by to show us the quilts her mother had made for her 3 children...

I'm so proud of the progress I am making on the baby sweater!!! First time following a pattern!! Making the hood just now... 8-)
Guess what? I'm getting excited at the prospect of becoming a grandma... It takes me a while to adjust with life's changes... 8-)

How fun it must have been! I like the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt the best. I think I would have enjoyed working on one of those too.

What a beautiful place you were at for your retreat. You're baby sweater is coming along nicely. I'm not coordinated enough to hold 2 needles and actually make them do something. (love the color you picked for the sweater)

Two retreats in one in one year - lucky lady. Being a grandmother is wonderful. My mother told me that I am spoiling my granddaughter rotten. Yup, Mom, I am - big smile.
