Yo-yos are fun!

First time playing with a Clover Yo-yo Maker...
Back in November...
Very easy, and fun!

Here I have a paper-pieced basket, pieced row, and am playing with stems, leaves, and Yo-yos!
Stems are machine sewn down...
Stitching leaves down...
Leaves on...
Playing with Yo-yo arrangement...
And here, the Yo-yos were all hand-stitched down...
A closer view. Click on photos...
The recipient was very happy with my row in the Row Robin my CCC group did!
I enjoyed making it for her... 8-)
Happy stitchings, and hope you are all having a great weekend!
Myra

Very pretty row!
It's interesting seeing the transformation from each photo as you add bits.
The yo-yo flowers really make it!

I have just made 126 yo-yo's while my husband was in the hospital. now I have about 26 more XL ones to go before sewing them together for my final project, a monkey!

Very pretty. I love yoyo's too, they are so easy to do with those lither makers.

Thanks for the comments about the "Joys of Winter." I'm sure loving this new adventure you are making! You are very creative! I've made yoyo's but have never applied them to anything....what a beautiful pattern!

Looking good! I will only make yo yos with the yo yo maker, it is too much of a hassle the old fashioned way. Whom ever invented that thing was a genius!!

As the recipient of the yo yo row I must tell you the photos don't do Myra's work justice - love them yo yos!

I have never used a yo-yo maker. Your applique piece looks like spring.
