Wedding Day... and day after...

Our little family unit...
DH, self, DD1, DD2, & DS
(before our family grew to 6 a half hour later... next month it will grow to 7...)
The wedding couple...
DD1 dancing with her new hubby, MrFarmer...
Not the greatest photo... We had camera problems... 8-(
We had a wonderful day of festivities yesterday! A wonderful ceremony, great food, great company, and everything went well, except for the weather. Since we were indoors for the most part it was A-OK!!! I think we finally got to bed around 4-5am, after the wedding clean up at the hall, the long drive home, unloading and finding room for all the left over food... Whew!!!

This afternoon we had a a small group in for the gift opening at our place. Friends of the bride and groom... We are now beyond beat!!! Sleep can't come too soon... 8-)
Here is a photo of the quilt presentation... A "Farm" themed quilt was requested, and that is what she got! Yes, it still needs about 2 feet of binding sewn down... DD1 had me hopping too much this past week to get it done... 8-(
I shall take a full view photo when it is done...tomorrow!!!

The quilt will travel to the farm soon, when we go States-side for the US reception in a couple of weeks... Another big event apparently!!! It should be a great time! MrFarmer's family is awesome!!! 8-)

Next on the agenda; my dad's surgery early Tuesday morning... Monday will be a day of rest... 8-)

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Going to bed now... ZZZzzzzz......
Myra

I was wondering how you were holding up today. Great wedding guys! The quilt is amazing Myra! I too had problems with my camera. Got to spend the next morning with DD1's FIL for a little chat outside. Very nice man! Congratulations on your new son!

I thought about you guys on Saturday and grimaced at the weather. So glad that all went well. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Farmer!!

Will be thinking of your dad on Tuesday and saying a prayer for a successful surgery. Hugs to you all! How long will he be in hospital? I'm in Lorette all this week and will find time for a quick visit.

I'm so glad everything went of without a hitch. Congratulations to the happy couple.
Why is it that sons (and in our family, daughters too) always seem to grow taller than their dads?
