Retreat Vendor Table Goodies...

... that had to come home with me! lol! 8-)

Here are the fabrics I came home with. The fat quarter bundle's colors were just calling to me, the Bali Pop strips of reproduction fabrics were an absolute must since I don't have any in my stash, and the Go Green fabric I thought would be good for totes/bags...
A darling pattern, possibly for a future grandchild, and cute socks as I needed some anyway... 8-)
I had been looking for a corner trimmer for a while, and the fusible quilters grid came home just because of the demo we had at the retreat. Would be great to try out a water color project!

To the left is a reminder of the Quilt Show that is to come the weekend after Easter, so if you are in my area, this would be something to check out! 8-)
It is put on by the Manitoba Prairie Quilters Guild...

To the left is the pamphlet cover of the place I go to for a quilt retreat every March, put on by the Carberry Quilters. This was my 5th year attending!!! Always a good time...
It is a great place for a group of 35 to 45 quilters to have a fun and productive weekend...

Some retreat Sew & Tell tomorrow...
Myra

PS: to all my blogging friends that I keep in contact with, please forgive my low amount of comments/visits on your blogs... I'm a busy mother of 2 brides, 2 wedding quilts, a daughter of a mother that still needs some help, and trying to fit in my quilting fun with others...

Have a wonderful Easter weekend...

This was a scheduled post...

I am such a gadget person so I love the corner trimmer etc. Beautiful fabrics too. I'll probably be going to the quilt show on Friday as early as possible. I have to be home by 5 and it's a 2 hr drive. When are you going to be there?
I can't imagine two brides at once...

Myra!!! We know how insanely busy you have been and now will be - don't worry about us feeling like you have left us behind!! Are you kidding???!!!??? We are suprised that you are still able to funcion at all!!!! 2 brides, 2 weddings, and everything else????? Are you kidding me???? You just do what you have to do, make sure you take time (it won't be given to you!! Put it in your date book with a big 'X' through the page) and make sure this is "YOUR" time - to do what you want, with no excuses and no apoligies!!!! Make sure you take time for Myra things, what you want to do to keep that lovin' cup inside of you full, and your energy up for all that you are going to be doing this crazy, fun, fantastic, and beautiful year!!! And when you do come to visit, or post on your blog, we will know you are still alive and doing well!!! ((hugs)) - no, {{{{{huge hugs}}}}}}}!!! lol!!
