Sunset and Sewing...

Last nights sunset... Comes early these days... Just before 5pm!
Today's sewing efforts... Putting my borders together...
I will be attempting mitered corners...
But can she do it? We shall see?
Wish me luck! 8-)

Good luck with the mitred corners. One thing I have found is to make sure the corner itself is a perfect 90 degree angle. If it is, you shouldn't have too much trouble with them.

I'm liking that quilt! If you hold your tongue just right and grimace just a bit, the mitered borders are a breeze! Good luck. - Marlene

I so love this quilt. I hope your mitered borders went well. I did my first one last year. I love the look of your borders.

My current project will need mitered borders at least on two opposite corners mainly because of the fabrics I chose. I may have to come back here for a lesson! Or dig out a basic quilt instruction book. I have done them precisely once in my 21 yrs of quilting.

Thanks for stopping by my place and commenting on my Be Attitude quiltlets.
