Playing with my D9P blocks made at the quilt retreat over the weekend.
The pink looks overpowering here due to the photo, but it isn't so in reality...
I grabbed a whole bunch of small print florals that were taking up space in my stash, to whip up a quick D9P to throw on the couch...
You can see other photos from the weekend in my previous post...
Make sure to go check out other design wall creations on the Needle and Thread Network, and if you are a Canadian quilter/fiber artist, become a follower there... Pop on over to Esther's blog too to see WIP links to other blogs..
Happy stitching!

I love that D9P setting!!!! It looks so intricate.
Love the D9P block, so versatile and fun. Your quilt looks great. You got a lot done on your retreat.
Terrific! I've only made a D9P once, gave it to my mom, she hung it up like a curtain to block the bright sun, and then her dog bit a hole through the centre. Is that a pathetic quilt story or what!? : )
Thanks for linking !

Lovely D9P - and so happy to see you back at quilting again!
Great quilt and a great way to use up some of your stash !
I love a nice cuddly couch quilt and this one definitely looks cuddle worthy!
Oh, I'm definitely adding a D9P quilt to my list of patterns to try. It looks fast and fun, and you get a great result. Great job, Myra!
Oops....Myra - got you confused with another quilter who hasn't been able to quilt for a while due to an arm injury. Sorry about that. Still like the D9P - it's great!
Looking good!
I think the pink looks great! Actually I think the whole thing looks great, fab colours!
