A moving day...

It finally happened! Today we moved Wonky Bits buddy's hand-quilting frame from her Cottage, to her Condo... Since her hubby has been placed into a nursing home she hasn't been spending much time at the cottage, and she has a beautiful quilt in progress on the frame. It has taken about a year to convince her to move it to her Condo, and now it is done, and she can work on it a bit every day... 8-)
Yay Hc!!!

We were hoping it would fit inside my van, rather than strapping it down on the roof of it... Lucky us it did!!!
Silly me forgot to take photos of our journey up the stairs to her 3rd floor suite, and set up when we were done... 8-(
Everything worked out fine, tension good, and she is set to stitch now!!!
If that wasn't tiring enough for me, we also went to our daughter's apartment to celebrate DH's and DD2's birthdays tonight... AND, here I sit at the comp, doing this, when I should have been in bed about 2 hours ago!!! Glutton for punishment I tell ya!!! lol!

Kristie, of blog Quilt Harvest, had a post about a Sally Collins and some of her beautiful quilts... Do check it out! You will be impressed! 8-)

Heading to bed NOW!!!
Happy stitchings!
Myra

Thank you for visiting my blog. What a great friend you are to help your friend move her quilting frame and up 3 flights of stairs no less.

I am very pleased for your quliting friend that she use her frame more now. Sad news about her husband, having a spouse move into a nursing home is a big adjustment for all involved. I hope they are doing ok.
