I made a quilt top a while ago for my first grandchild, thinking it was to be neutral, for girl or boy, but found it to suit a baby girl more. So, I decided to make another quilt top more suited to a baby boy. That is what I've been working on here and there this last while since we've been home from our time away... Only thing I have to do yet is add a turtle applique...
Our Mrs Rose (DD2) is looking wonderful, and feeling great! Can you believe she hasn't gained a pound!!
These two are busy bees right now, and we are all hoping baby can wait another week... Read "why" above my posts...
Their house did come today...
It will be put in place tomorrow...

I put a poll on my right sidebar to see how many are interested in taking part in my Mystery Quilt-Along...
(As if I need to be doing this MQA with
everything else going on around here!!!
Like I need a hole in my head too!!! LOL!)
Anyway, I sure would appreciate seeing what

It has been well over a week since I've posted, and much longer since I've caught up on visiting all those special bloggers that I follow, as well as those that leave comments on my posts... Once this crazy time that we've been experiencing is over, and I don't feel so overwhelmed, my blogging practices will resurface I am sure...
Till then, take care and
happy stitching friends! 8-)

So much excitement ,you must be siting on pins and needles .We're all anxiously awaiting news on the baby .Don't worry about your blog ,you have so much going on right now ,get some rest and dream about holding that new born in your arms .
The baby quilt looks great. I will be hoping that baby waits another week too.
I'm so glad that the house has arrived. It sounds like you have a very patient baby in there - hopefully, cooperative as well.
Not a pound???? That is awesome for her!
Lovely quilt top - what an exciting time for everybody.
I am waiting to do your Mystery!! But, I am certainly not ready yet, so I am very happy for the wait!!! I have just (I think!) figured out my blks - and they are not made, so no rush on this okay!!?!
And I am glad the house finally arrived!! Ohhh, I just can not imagine the stress those two have been under!!!
And you, make sure you have a hot cup of something a few times a day WHERE YOU ACTUALLY SIT DOWN TO DRINK IT OKAY!!!!! ;-)
And take a few minutes to get out and enjoy the falling leaves.... at least that is happening here... is it there too??? Not alot of them yet, but still, just the idea of it - so get out and breath the fresh air and feel the sun on your face... it's the little simple things that will give you energy and stamina and keep you going with a smile on your face. And a few peaceful minutes before baby arrives, yah, you need that too!!!!
Really cute quilt top! Baby and parents are sure to love it.
It seems those houses always take longer than they tell you they will. Mom's house was over a month late too. I scheduled vacation so I could help with the move. As it turned out I helped pack, but the house was so late that my sisters and brothers had to move her and I had to go home.
Myra, take your time :-) Enjoy your grandchild and give all our love to your babe and husband. :-) Good luck guys, get in some sleep while you can. Houses re arrange themselves with a baby around anyway :-) x x x
