And that is the end of my "Many Thanks" blocks... I will show the whole quilt one day when it is fully hand quilted... 8-)
Here is a sneak peak of the Gazebo. Sketch done, and stitching started. I am not the greatest with stitchery, but I'm giving it my best shot this week! Deviating though from my other projects with the excitement of creating this, but it will be something new to work on at my 2 quilt gatherings this week! I am hoping to have it done this week... 8-)
Another wonderful sunny day here today... well, so far. I really should get my butt in gear and get out there with the fur-girls soon...
I loved seeing all the blocks and now will look forward to seeing the gazebo. I love to do hand stitching. You are making me want to pick it back up. I only have a few hundred skeins of embroidery threads from way back when. Now they have such pretty silk ones. Hope you have time to enjoy the nice weather!
I really like the blocks you featured from your first quilt. What a nice pattern - even the block borders are interesting; QSTs, pinwheels, rectangles, etc. I bet this was not a boring quilt to make. Like others, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Beautiful! I can't wait to see it all done. Enjoy your sunny day!
ReplyDeleteOh, hurry! I want to see the whole quilt. I should talk.....especially since you have been viewing all my UFO projects.
ReplyDeleteI think your stitchery is great!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the stitching. I can't wait to see if completed. Wall hanging or more embroideries for a larger quilt?
