Your friend was so right about the pressing, I have been pressing (ironing)that way for years and have terribly sore wrists to prove it! No kidding, thats how I learned to press......BTW, your block is lovely!Irishgirlsews ~ Wendyhttp://quiltsbythesea.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6284543035208024305.post-41941813212656851772011-03-18T08:53:28.782-05:002011-03-18T08:53:28.782-05:00This does make sense - I so often struggle to get ...This does make sense - I so often struggle to get a crisp seam, especially when there are lots of cross-seams on both sides. I was taught to give a little pull when ironing from the back, but that doesn't always even help - this looks like the answer! But, I do...That DOES seem like a waist of time. LOL<br />But, I do all of those steps when I finish a block {plus one of spritzing with linen water} when I finish a block, well with the exception of pressing the seams open part. I will have to add that. ;)Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09061959219863893253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6284543035208024305.post-76608965065589047192011-03-18T07:06:04.560-05:002011-03-18T07:06:04.560-05:00Sorry you are sick and hope you are better soon. ...Sorry you are sick and hope you are better soon.
