Stem #2 is stuck down...

Stem #2 is stuck down, 1 more to go... then comes the fun of machine applique...
Any suggestions for that? Can one use invisible thread for it? Which stitch? Open to suggestions... please...
Wonky Phyl? What say you? 8-)My sewing room is a horrible mess!
Two more sleeps and I'm off to Fargo! Woohoo! 8-)

    i would use either invisible thread or match the fabrics. and i would go with a small buttonhole. it looks great!

    You can always tidy up when you finish. I have used invisible thread and it worked out fine.
