I emailed this drawing I did of Brenda's Gazebo photo that she had posted on her blog on this day and the sneaky gal went and posted the drawing!!! Yikes! I didn't know if I should feel honored or horrified! lol! And now Brenda has posted a sketch/drawing challenge and dares all... 8-) I did another sketch of Brenda's Gazebo, but not ready to reveal it as of yet... Looks much better though! 8-)
DS is home and in one piece, with the exception on an addition to his face. He went and got his eyebrow pierced!!! I am not very impressed, but what can you do? Eventually he will loose, when he finishes maturing I am sure...
Welcome to the "mothers with sons who have a pierced eyebrow" club. Both my sons have done it. One is a public school teacher and the other works for the president of a university - writing his speeches and answering his mail. Neither one wears anything to work (thank goodness) but they have been known to wear a safety pin through the holes. Remember the fit some parents had when their sons had long hair??
Well, I have three piercings in each ear, but only wear one or two at a time. I don't know what I was thinking. I love the blocks and now I am waiting to see the updated drawing!
I love all these blocks .The sketch is wonderful ,my goodness you should be very proud . My son got a tattoo on his arm and shaved his head bald all in one day ,needless to say I was in total shock . I got used to the tattoo ,but the hair thing still makes me cringe .Thank God he grew it back in said he was a little warm with a hat on in my presence LOL .
Your drawings are very good! You are talented! I looked at her blog that Gazebo is amazing and your drawings are close to the real deal. Can't wait to see it done! That will be a very pretty quilt! Good color choices!
You should be honoured that your drawing got posted, silly! I didn't know you were an artist too! I am thoroughly enjoying seeing all these different blocks from your quilt Myra. I just love Art to Heart!

ReplyDeleteYour blocks are looking good, you should finish the quilt one day.... all that applique work!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty blocks! That is going to be one gorgeous quilt.
ReplyDeleteIf the eyebrow thing is the worst thing that your son does, then it's not so bad :) It's hard being a parent, I know!

Myra, it is like opening candy to look at all your pretty blocks. Keep on posting your lovely work. And your drawing is gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteI cringe at the very thought of it but my son in law had one of his nipples pierced a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteYuk!
