Envelop Bag and Snow...

I finished up the binding today... Working fingers very tender sore now... 8-/

The quilt at this point is 27 inches square...
Which when folded down into the envelop measures 12"x13".

Here is each side...

This bag has 3 sections. Center section, and 2 side sections.

The bag needs handles and closures yet, but that will wait till tomorrow... I think I may even insert a little piece of fabric into each side also... will show what that is about tomorrow... 8-)

We had even more show this morning... Big drifts! Our deck and the 2 wood benches were totally free of show and ice before this weather system come through... Towards the end of the afternoon the sun began to peek out a bit. 8-)

Wonky Bits was a no go today, as was our Wednesday night gathering... 8-(

That critter in yesterday's post was my cousin B's little black Pom, "Teddy". This other critter is B's "Mouse" who is only 3 months old... a little cuddly lady... 8-)

  1. Myra, what a cute bag. The snow pictures are lovely and you sure do get a lot of snow. Love to see the puppies too.

  2. What a nice little bag. Can you show us how it all went together? I'm glad you showed us your view of the world. I posted a pic of what the day was like outside my door. No snow, no rain and just a bit cloudy. The little black pom looks so much like my little Dolly (aka known as Conan the pomeranian by her first owner.) Sadly, Dolly is gone. She was such a glutton for affection.

I'm sorry to see you got more snow. I hope it doesn't head in this direction!

  6. What a nifty bag. I was setting here trying to figure out how you folded that little quilt to make this bag. Now my eyes are crossed and stuck that way and I still don't see how you did it. LOL.....

  7. I like how you laid out the squares for your envelope bag. Bummer about your furnace...I hear a rumour that it'll be above freezing temps on the weekend, let's hope so to get rid of all this snow!
